Content creator Benedict Cua wanted the best birthday party for his son Aleck, fondly called Bao-bao, as he turned one.

“I‘ve never done a celebration this big and I never dreamed of doing something like this also. But it was all worth it,” Benedict said in his YouTube vlog.  

In his speech during Aleck’s fruit-themed party at Manila Marriott Hotel on Sunday, March 23, he revealed that he never planned these things until his son arrived.

“Grabe this time last year, parang hindi pa kami bumibili ng stuff para kay baby kasi parang ever since kapag may plano ako naji-jinx. Parang ito yung isang plano na parang ‘di ko kayang majinx ever. Wala akong plano hanggang dumating si Aleck.”

The YouTube vlogger expressed in the same speech his wish for his beloved son. 

“And I wish Aleck nothing but happiness in this world. Sana lumaki siya na mapagmahal, with respect, with compassion, and basically, kasing bait ko,” he said.  

In his 29-minute vlog, Benedict was seen shedding tears in a specific clip where he was editing the Audio-Visual Presentation for his son’s party. 

Prior to the party, Aleck had his Catholic baptism at Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Makati.

One of Aleck’s godparents, content creator Marvin Fojas, expressed a heartfelt message: “Happy birthdayAaleck. Ang wish ko sa'yo sana lumaki ka to be the person that you want to be and sana matupad lahat ng dreams mo in the future. I love you and sana mapanood mo 'to in the future.”

Benedict’s best friend, Jill, became emotional while expressing her wishes for Aleck. 

“My wish for you is to become exactly like your dad, very humble despite all his success in life. I hope also you become ambitious like him. Naiyak ako kasi I’ve always seen my best friend from just dreaming what he has today to what he has now. So, you’re very lucky. I hope you become very steadfast like him,” she said.  

Aleck’s party was attended by Benedict’s family and friends as well as his fellow content creators like Mimiyuuuh.  

In May 2024, Benedict revealed through a vlog that his dream of becoming a father came true.  

In 2021, Benedict already expressed that he was dreaming of creating his own family.
