Regine Tolentine took a trip down memory lane and recalled balancing her career and being a mom at the age of 20.

In an interview with Offstage which premiered on 4.0 Management's YouTube channel, Regine admitted: "It's very hard and I do remember a lot sleepless nights because I had a lot of jobs happening at the same time, and being a mom is also something new for me at the age of 20."

The celebrity dancer relayed that staying focused was key in managing both her responsibilities. "I think I just would, when I am doing a certain task, I'll be in the zone," she recounted.

She also shared that making detailed to-do lists helped her stay on top of things. "I am kind of a write down kind of person where I have a long list of things to but slowly I check it off so that I don't get too stress out," she said.

The celebrity host said that even today, her schedule remains packed. "Until now, I feel like I have so many things going on, which is great. However, you just need to pace yourself."

She also emphasized the importance of carving out "me time" to cope with the demands of her busy schedule. "I also married early so parang wala talaga akong time magpahinga to be honest. I was a young mom as well. At that time I had 2 daughters at the age of 24, so I just always try, at least nung time na 'yun, once a month do a me time whether get my hair done or have my nails done. At least once a month nung time na 'yun was a big thing for me." she recalled.

Regine went on: "It was like that for a few decades. It was just like go lang ng go. So na-enjoy ko rin naman siya. Because there was just so many experiences I just didn't want to say no to anything kasi everything was exciting for me."

Among the most difficult parts of her journey, Regine shared was the time spent away from her children due to work.

"The only way that I would call it, it was a burden sometimes because there are times when I wanted to be there for my children more. I had a lot of work here in the Philippines and abroad. I had daily shows, soaps, movies, like all of that was happening at the same time," she recounted. "If anything it was just more time with my children. But most of the time I would bring them actually."

Despite the challenges, Regine remains grateful. "To be honest I am so lucky that my job is something that I love to do. I love dancing, I love hosting. I love meeting new people," she said.
