<p>Kakai Bautista shared her reasons for embracing singlehood at the moment, emphasizing that being single has allowed her to fully enjoy her time, freedom, and hard-earned money.</p><p>In an interview on <em>Your Honor</em> with Tuesday Vargas and Buboy Villar, Kakai said that choosing to be single has brought her a new sense of calm and control over her life.</p><p>&quot;Choice ko talaga kasi para sa akin, ngayon ko lang nai-enjoy &#x27;yung time ko for myself. Ngayon ko nai-enjoy ang pera ko, ngayon ko nai-enjoy &#x27;yung buhay ko na medyo kalmado na lahat, nakakaluwag na,&quot; she stated.</p><p>Kakai explained that her past relationships took a toll on her emotional and mental well-being, and now she&#x27;s making the most of her independence.</p><p>&quot;Kasi imagine ninyo, sa mga naging relasyon natin dati, aminin naman natin time, money, lahat, effort, &#x27;yung mental health natin laging nakasalalay, emotional health natin... Not unless nag-invest na ako talaga ng malala pero &#x27;yung mga dumadaan-daan lang, goodbye na agad,&quot; she said.</p><p>Kakai shared that after every relationship, she intentionally takes time before getting into a new one. &quot;Ako, pagka may jowa ako, laging mahaba &#x27;yung pagitan. Ang pagitan ko three years, minsan two years... Choice ko lagi na matagal,&quot; she explained. </p><p>Kakai added: &quot;Choice ko na talaga na maging single, hanggang ngayon, choice ko lang.&quot;</p>
