Isabelle Daza opened up about how the economic pressures have influenced her approach to finances, specifically her embrace of "loud budgeting."

In an interview with Nicole Andersson on the Solo Flight Podcast, Isabelle acknowledged the challenges brought by inflation. She also recognized the impact of the shifting media landscape and how these changes have shaped her financial habits.

She noted that the dominance of traditional television has declined, paving the way for a more diverse media landscape, one where TV stars like her now vie for opportunities alongside a wide range of content creators.

"There are so many avenues [now] where people earn so TV isn't the main, I guess source of income, main form of media. And then also, before kasi artistas and celebrities we had an upper hand but now the landscape has changed, parang the gate has been opened, which is great because there's more selection, brands are kind of choosing from different kinds of content creators and also artists and it kind of levels the playing field," she said.

While she welcomes this shift, Isabelle also acknowledged the challenges it presents, especially for someone like her who is not based full-time in the Philippines. "But at the same time, especially for someone who isn't necessarily based here, it's not as easy to get work so to speak," the actress admitted.

Given her present financial reality and her role as a mother, Isabelle relayed that she has embraced the practice of "loud budgeting."

"Loud budgeting for me is in because of the situation I am in, plus having three kids, plus living in Hong Kong. It's not anymore as easy to say, 'Yeah let's go to a five-star hotel and have a Michelin dinner.' I'm gonna tell my friend, 'That is too expensive, this is my budget,'" she explained.

The actress went on: "Loud budgeting is basically being open and telling people what you are and are able to afford, and what you're not without any shame, that's my understanding from it. And it's like whereas before, where you'd be like, 'Yeah, sige game' and one dinner you would be broke."

Isabelle highlighted how loud budgeting encourages authenticity over projecting a lavish lifestyle. "Parang loud budgeting is being true to what you can and can't afford. And it goes hand in hand with don't go broke trying to look rich because we all know that's not the place you want to be in," she stated.
