For the first time ever, Song Joong-Ki is endorsing a Filipino brand. IAM WORLDWIDE just announced that the Korean star has signed up with the company to endorse its range of health and wellness products like Pure Organic Barley, Slim Caffe Macchiato, and Choco Barley.

The star of Descendants of the Sun and Vincenzo expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, “I am thrilled to be part of the IAM Worldwide family. I have always admired the Filipino spirit, their warmth and hospitality. This partnership allows me to connect more deeply with my Filipino fans. I truly appreciate IAM Worldwide for this opportunity.”

For their part, president and founder Allen Marvin Eder stated, “IAM Worldwide is honored to have Song Joong-Ki as our 2025 headliner. His illustrious career and personal values align perfectly with our brand's vision and mission.”

Vice president and founder Aika Lorraine Uy seconded Eder’s sentiments, adding, “We believe that his influence and dedication will inspire many Filipinos to pursue their aspirations to not just excel in life but also to embrace a healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle.”

General Manager and Founder Joanna Mañego also explained their choice of enlisting the Korean A-lister. “Known for his versatility and commitment to his craft, Song Joong-Ki embodies the very essence of IAM Worldwide’s mission to inspire and empower individuals to achieve their dreams and overcome the impossible.”

 IAM Worldwide had been dropping hints about their new celebrity endorser last week, beginning with their PR Agency PUBLICITYASIA releasing a black-and-white teaser image on Instagram on March 17. “Annyeong, Philippines! A Hallyu A-lister with a killer smile and a passion for good health has recently joined the #IAMWorldwide family," the caption stated.

This was followed by a teaser video on March 18 which had fans excitedly guessing the identity of the Hallyu star. “Heroes are ordinary people who make themselves extraordinary. Watch out as a new HERO joins the IAM Worldwide family soon. #IAMReady #IAMWorldwide.” they wrote back then.

Song Joong-Ki first caught the attention of Pinoy audiences with the K-Drama Descendants of the Sun. This was followed by roles in Arthdal Chronicles, Vincenzo, and Reborn Rich. His next drama, My Youth, is the story of a former child actor who rediscovers the challenges of present life with a long lost love.

The actor is now a father of two, after his wife Katy Louise Saunders gave birth to their daughter in November 2024. They welcomed a son in June 2023.
