Ruffa Gutierrez and Herbert Bautista were spotted at the seventh birthday party of Richard Gutierrez’s youngest son, Kai, in Alabang on Friday, March 22. This is despite the circulating rumors that the couple had already parted ways.  

In the video shared by Abante News showbiz reporter Jun Lalin in his segment Anything Goes, the celebrity couple was seen interacting and sitting next to each other. 

The actor-turned-politician was also spotted chit-chatting with Ruffa’s half-brothers Monching and Tonton who were also present at the event.  

As of writing, the couple has yet to address the rumors about their relationship.  

Ruffa’s mother, Annabelle Rama, refused to give a statement about the couple’s status and the return to the Philippines of Yilmaz Bektas, her daughter’s ex-husband.  

“No comment,” she responded when the showbiz reporter asked about the controversies. 

Ruffa and Herbert’s relationship was made public in 2024 after the actress-beauty queen revealed it in Karen Davila’s vlog, saying it started in 2020 due to a collaboration for the series The House Arrest of Us.

In an ambush interview on March 11, the actress-beauty queen revealed that her former husband wanted to propose and remarry her again.  

“He couldn't find someone like me and kept searching all over the world. In fact, he wanted to propose and marry me again. I initially thought he was joking," she said in a previous interview.  

Few days later, the Turkish businessman confirmed in an Instagram story that he will soon visit the country, although he did not go into the details of his comeback.

In 2021, Ruffa revealed that she connected with Yilmaz “for the sake of their children.” The following year, her daughters, Lorin and Venice, reunited with their father in Turkey after their 15-year separation.  

Ruffa and Yilmaz were married in 2003 but decided to split after four years.
