Kryz Uy and Slater Young went on a non-work-related trip to Donostia-San Sebastian in Spain as part of their 6th year anniversary celebration.  

On Instagram, the content creator shared a few snaps from their adventure in what she described as a “magical place.” 

“Took me 6 years to plan a non-work related eurotrip and so happy and grateful to finally have the time off,” she wrote in the caption.  

In her San Sebastian vlog two weeks ago, Kryz shared that it was not first time they visited the place, but it holds a special place in their hearts.  

“Hubs and I were here a few years ago, right after we got married, and we absolutely fell in love with the place. Not only for its charm and beauty, but also for its amazing food scene,” she said.  

In the caption of her YouTube video, Kryz also shared a bit of trivia with her subscribers: “San Sebastian has the second most number of Michelin Star restaurants per capita on the entire planet!” 

For context, restaurants that observe outstanding cooking are granted a Michelin star. According to the Michelin guide, “We take into account five universal criteria: the quality of the ingredients, the harmony of flavours, the mastery of techniques, the personality of the chef as expressed through their cuisine and, just as importantly, consistency both across the entire menu and over time.”

In that trip, Kryz had her first Michelin experience, which she flaunted on her vlog’s description. 

“The food was definitely out of this world. From tasting menus to pinxtos, my mouth and tummy were happy campers,” she delightedly shared. 

The couple was joined by Kryz’s best friend and her husband, as well as her cousin who frequently visits in San Sebastian.  

Kryz, a lifestyle and travel vlogger, is a mom to three boys: Scott Knoah, Seven Kai and Saxon Kent. Her husband, Slater, an engineer by profession, was hailed as the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited in 2012.
