Projects have been pouring in since JM Ibarra's time on Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11. He’s been performing on the weekend variety show ASAP and recently strutted down the runway at the Bench Body of Work fashion show.

Amid all these exciting opportunities, JM shared in an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN that his experience on the famous reality show still stands out as the most memorable to him.

“Since pumasok ako dito sa industryang ito, dito sa showbiz, lahat ng trabaho sobrang memorable sa akin. At halos bago ako simulan yung trabaho, talagang chine-cherish ko yun kasi maraming nangangarap na maging artista. Siguro, in terms of pinaka (memorable), ‘yung PBB pa rin,” he shared.

JM went on to explain how the overall experience is something truly special: "Walang tatalo sa mga nagiging moments dun sa loob, sa experience ko dun sa loob ng bahay, ‘yung buong pag-i-stay ko sa PBB.”

The reality star also emphasized how important it is to be genuine inside the Pinoy Big Brother house.

"Advice ko lang sa mga current housemates, siguro ano lang, ‘yung natural na sinasabi lang ni Kuya: magpakatotoo lang sila,” he said, echoing the same sentiments as others who have gone through the PBB housemate experience. “Huwag silang matakot sa sasabihin ng iba. As long as mas kilala nila ‘yung sarili nila, ipakita lang nila kung sino sila. Huwag nilang kontrolin ‘yung makikita ng ibang tao sa kanila.  As in, maging genuine lang sila, magpakatotoo lang sila."

Meanwhile, JM also shared how proud his family is of where he is now and how they never expected all the good things happening in his career.

“Since pumasok ko dito sa showbiz, sobrang na-overwhelm sila. Hindi nila siguro yung na-expect na magiging ganito yung lagay ko dito sa industriya. But sa ngayon naman, happy sila sa nangyayari sa mga projects dito,” he said.

The rising star also mentioned that his family has become more cautious, especially with the public eye and the attention that comes with it.

"Mas kontrolado lang nila siguro ‘yung nagiging reaction nila. Kasi, syempre, showbiz. Mahirap na eh. Konting maling galaw lang, nadadamay sila. So nasabihan ko naman sila about dun. Pero sobra, sobra yung saya nila sa mga projects na natatanggap ko ngayon,” JM shared.
