Fans are all praises for Kaila Estrada’s performance as the tough Max in the hit primetime action series Incognito.

During the launch event of local beauty brand Barefaced, Kaila exclusively shared with PUSH ABS-CBN how she takes care of her skin amidst the physically demanding project.

“Iba-iba ‘yung weather conditions eh. Some weather conditions can be harsh, and dahil nga action outdoor, we’re always working outside. Puro kami exterior,” Kaila shared. “So syempre it's important for you to take care of yourself and take care of your skin because you're also exposed to a lot of bacteria in the air, dust, and whatever. So I feel like it's important to really have a general self-care routine.”

The Kapamilya actress went on revealing her personal beauty regimen.

“My beauty routine? I do skin cycling because I have very sensitive skin. I don't bombard my skin with a lot of products in one night. So I like to use, if I'm going to use actives on my skin, it's like one per night lang. I don't mix them kasi hindi maganda ‘yung effect sa skin ko,” she said.

Kaila also emphasized how important cleansing is, especially as an actress who is always required to wear makeup.

"I think cleansing is really important, especially if you wear a lot of makeup or if it's part of your daily routine to wear makeup. It's important to really wash your face before you sleep. And hindi masyado magtagal ‘yung makeup sa face mo,” Kaila emphasized.

The Incognito star continued, saying how it's also a must to use sunscreen: “Skincare is super important. Indoors, outdoors. Also, a tinted sunscreen is better than a regular sunscreen.”

Meanwhile, Kaila also highlighted the importance for celebrities, particularly as a beauty ambassador, to choose brands that align with their values.

"I feel like it's important to know what the brand stands for. And I feel like the intention of the brand in creating a brand says a lot about the company in itself. So I feel like I have been very fortunate also to have worked with brands that are aligned with what I believe in and my core values,” Kaila pointed out.
