One month after finally putting to rest persistent rumors that she had split with husband Luke Wrightson, Jervi Wrightson, also known as KaladKaren, recently shared some happy news about their home. 

In her Instagram post last March 21, the Star Magic talent revealed the newest addition to their home, a new pet puppy named Pony. Kaladkaren wrote in the caption, “New member of our little family! Meet our baby - Pony Wrightson! ❤️🐶🦄”

The actress and host also shared their puppy’s new social media account in her post, which already has three posts as of this writing. One post showed the adorable furbaby looking comfy on top of one of Kaladkaren’s purses, along with the caption, “My crazy mommy put me in her purse! 😜”

The popular TV host had to face online speculation about her alleged separation with her husband earlier this year when a Tiktok video she posted was misinterpreted by netizens as trouble brewing in her marriage. 

The 32-year-old host finally clarified this during the TV5 show Frontline Pilipinas. “Lilinawin ko lamang po yung issue tungkol sa amin ni Luke. You know, our marriage is not perfect. Katulad ng ibang couples, siyempre may misunderstandings, merong challenges. Hindi rin po nakakatulong na minsan hindi kami magkasama because Luke is working abroad. For 13 years, sinubok na po kami ng panahon,” she explained. “Araw-araw pinipili po namin mahalin ang isa’t-isa, so kami pa rin po. We’re still together. Wala po kaming problema ni Luke. Masaya po kaming mag-asawa.”

She also took this opportunity to remind people to be mindful of the information they come across, adding a subtle reminder to respect boundaries. 

“I think ang moral of the story [is] we have to be responsible with the content we receive and consume. ‘Yung mga napapanood natin online, mag-ingat po tayo sa fake news, and of course, let’s mind our own business,” she added. 

One of the country’s most popular transgender actresses and LGBTQIA+ rights advocates, Kaladkaren wed longtime boyfriend Luke Wrightson in an intimate wedding ceremony in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom last September after more than a decade of dating followed by an almost four-year engagement. Kaladkaren also made history as the  first transgender woman to win the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2023 Summer Metro Manila Film Festival for her role in the comedy film Here Comes the Groom.
