Socialite and content creator Small Laude recently shared an update on her family after taking a break following the passing of her father, Andres Eduardo, on January 31.

In a video posted on her YouTube channel, Small opened up about how her family has been coping with the loss.

“Today, I’m visiting my mom and I just wanted to share with you what my family [has been] doing after my dad passed away,” Small said.

Small revealed that the family made a commitment to regularly visit their mother, Elisa Eduardo, to keep her company and lift her spirits. In the days following her father's passing, they accompanied their mother to a dentist appointment and later had dinner at her favorite restaurant.

“Gusto niya maglakad. Kailangan libangin si Mother. Siyempre, sad si mother so we’ll gonna roam around,” Small said as they joined their mom for a little walk.

“Si Mother magpapasyal kasi siya nabobore siya sa house so magikot kami.” she added. “After the hotpot (dinner), so mother nagshopping.”

After dining out, their mother indulged in some shopping, an activity she enjoys. The family also celebrated the birthday of Small’s son, Tim, leaving a special place at the table for their late father along with a stuffed toy in his memory.

“I’m shocked. We are complete,” she said. “Lolo is here. We miss you, Daddeh!”

The family also had a special celebration for Tim with his friends.

“Thank you! Thank you everyone for coming. I appreciate it. I hope you're having a great night,” he said,

The family also attended Sunday Mass together, followed by a barbecue dinner for their mother.

“We are always here every single night to be with mother,” Small shared.

For Tim’s family birthday gathering, Small’s household helper, Lotlot, briefly took over the vlog, interviewing Small and her siblings, Alice Eduardo and Melba Eduardo Solidum.

“Sad pa rin kasi syempre namimiss namin si father. Super nakakamiss. Kulang.” the siblings said. “And then si Lola, walang gana. Nasa room. Nakakamiss si Daddeh sobra.”

On Ash Wednesday, the family attended an intimate Mass and dinner at their mother’s home. Small also showed a portrait of her father, smiling.

“We have to be with Mom kasi sobra siyang sad,” Small shared. “Every day we visit Mama kasi siya nasasad kasi we miss Daddeh.”

Ahead of the 40th-day memorial, Small and her family visited her father’s grave, offering a bouquet of white flowers. The vlog also captured moments from their private 40th-day memorial service.

“Today is the 40th day of Dad’s passing. This is the sendoff namin for him. Nakakamiss si Dad but of course it’s so painful pa rin but we have to do this,” the social media personality emotionally said.

She shared that they invited close friends and relatives for a Mass and dinner to honor their father’s memory.

“Dad, we love you and miss you. Go to heaven na. My gosh! Nakakaiyak! Here we are,” she said, concluding her vlog.

Before taking a break, Small uploaded a tribute video sharing how she learned about her father’s passing and how she has been coping.

“Hello, guys! You know this is a tribute for my dad and as you can see, supposedly dapat three weeks kami sa LA but na-cut short yung trip because I got a call from Ate. It’s the hardest and the worst call that I got,” Small recalled.

When she arrived at the hospital, her entire family was gathered by their father’s bedside. She had hoped for more time with him, praying for just a few more months together. However, he passed away an hour and a half after she arrived.

“My dad waited for me and after one and half hours, nag-pass on na siya,” Small said. “When I saw my dad on the table, that’s the time I realized my dad is gone. Even my ate, who’s the strongest, cried.”

She also expressed gratitude to those who supported their family during this difficult time.

“To each and every one of you, thank you guys for all the love and support. It means so much to the family during this difficult time. We really need support and thank you so much for loving Daddeh,” she added.
