Despite being busy opening her first restaurant business in Laguna this year, Keanna Reeves said she still makes time to prioritize her personal life, including having time for a love life. The 54-year-old actress-turned-entrepreneur admitted she currently has a non-showbiz boyfriend who is younger than her.

“Meron naman love life, at least hindi zero. Medyo (matagal na kami). Tahimik lang,” she shared.

Although she requested to not divulge any of his personal details, the first ever Grand Winner of PBB Celebrity Edition gamely answered questions about why she prefers dating someone younger than her.

“Okay lang naman pag-usapan pero respeto na lang sa kabila dahil baka hindi siya ready kasi ako daw parang sanay na ako sa mga issues, negative man or what. Siya, hindi siya sanay sa mga negative. Baka daw magka-issue naman, ma-misinterpret kasi kesyo mas bata siya. Sana (for keeps na). Lahat naman tayo, gusto natin yun di ba? HIndi naman natin alam sa takbo ng araw araw na magsa-sama sama, magka-kilanlanlan kayo,yung iba hindi nagtatagal,” she explained.

Having once been publicly linked to actors like John Prats, Jake Cuenca, and Joseph Bitangcol in the past, Keanna jokingly revealed why she prefers to date younger men. “Siyempre. Ano lasa nun kung… (laughs). Siyempre ganun pa rin. Dun pa rin ako sa quality hinahanap. Dun ako sa yung may collagen! (laughs).”

When asked for her take on women who date abusive men just like the recent issue of local DJ Jellie Aw who accused her fiancé Jam Ignacio of physical abuse last month, Keanna admitted she has personally gone through the same experience in her past.

“Naku, ako pioneer diyan. Kaya nga lumayas ako dun sa ex-husband ko kasi bugbog girl na din ako dun eh? Kaya alam ko na yung mga ganun. Na hindi biro yan. Ngayon, bago pa mangyari ulit yun, ako muna. Unahan ko muna, jombagin ko muna siya! (laughs)”
