Kapamilya Actor and Incognito star Richard Gutierrez took pride in celebrating the achievement of his eldest son, Zion, as one of his school's delegates for the United Nations — flaunting a proud dad moment to his followers on Instagram.

Richard Gutierrez takes pride in eldest son’s milestone

“Exploring New York City with my little man, Zion. So proud of his work with the Philippine delegates for the United Nations,” said Richard in a post exhibiting snaps from Zion’s activities in the city. 

In the same post, the 41-year-old actor expressed his gratitude to the people who helped in making Zion’s New York adventure possible. 

“To all the teachers and co-parents who worked tirelessly to make this trip an unforgettable experience for our kids, thank you,” he wrote. 

Richard assured his 11-year-old son of his constant support for his future endeavors. 

“I will never take these moments for granted, watching Zion grow into a fine young man. Always remember, Dad is here cheering you on every step of the way. I love you, Zion,” he expressed. 

Meanwhile, actress Ruffa Gutierrez, Richard’s sister, also reveled in her nephew’s new milestone.

“Congratulations, Zion!! Proud tita here!!! Love you both!!,” she wrote in the post’s comment section. 

During Zion’s 11th birthday in 2024, the actor penned a heartfelt and reassuring message: “Dada is here for you no matter what. I love you always, my young lion.”

Born on April 29, 2013, Zion is the actor’s eldest child with actress Sarah Lahbati. He also has a younger brother named Kai. 

Richard and Sarah took their vows as a married couple in 2020, before the entire country was put on a lockdown due to COVID-19. 

In March 2024, Sarah broke her silence and confirmed speculations of their break up, as fans hinted after they unfollowed each other on Instagram. 

In January, Richard said in an interview with Ogie Diaz that they are now undergoing an annulment process. 

But he assured people that kids will remain their top priority despite their separation. 

“May equal time kami with our kids. Parang nag cocoparenting kami and ang priority namin is to make sure that the kids live a good life, a happy life. Of course, kung happy siya sa buhay niya at happy ako sa buhay ko, makikita ng mga bata yun. Ang importante sa amin ay ang mga bata,” he said.
