Kapuso actress Katrina Halili recently took to social media to share touching moments with her daughter, Katie, who visited her in the hospital.

In a series of posts, Katrina shared clips of Katie taking care of her.

“Napakasweet naman talaga, love you anak. ❤️ #katiemylab,” Katrina wrote in a post.

In the video, although Katrina did not disclose the reason for her hospitalization, she expressed happiness in spending time with her daughter.

“Hello! May visitor po ako today. Thank you, baby1 Nag-absent ka for me? I love you!” she said.

“Yes,” Katie said. “Important ito kaya kailangan ko mag-absent. I-take care kita. I love you.”

However, their caregiving moment took a humorous turn. In another video, Katrina laughed as she showed Katie occupying her hospital bed.

“Maga-update po ako sa inyo ngayon. Ito po ang ginawa sa akin ni Katie. Inagawan pa po niya ako ng higaan. Ang galing naman po nito mag-alaga sa akin,” Katrina joked.

In another clip, Katie was seen getting a massage on the couch.

“Akala ko take care mo si Mama?” Katrina said.

Katie responded, “Yes. Take care ako (sa iyo) pero magpamassage muna ako kasi ang sakit sa arms.”

Despite the playful moments, Katrina expressed her gratitude for her daughter’s presence, saying it helped her feel better.

“Hay thank you anak. Umayos Na pakiramdam ko kahit nagkulitan Lang Tayo sa hospital 😂 I'm feeling better now🥰 Palagi mo ko pinapatawa🤗 #katiemylab #funnymoments #motheranddaughter,” the actress expressed.

Katrina also shared a clip showing their mother-daughter dynamic as Katie attempted to use chopsticks but ultimately preferred eating with her hands.

“Pwede Na to mag artist, binibigyan ko ng spoon and fork chopsticks nalang daw. Nagulat ako kasi dko naman sya Na Turuan. 😂 #katiemylabs #funnymoments,” she said.

Aside from wishing the actress well, fans expressed their fondness for the mother and daughter tandem in the comment section.

“KatieLabs maghugas ka ng kamay 😂😂😂 Nakakatuwa kayo ng mommy mo ❤️,” a netizen said.

Another one commented, “nakakagoodvibes po kayong dalawa ng anak niyo mam godbless and more blessings to come po 🙇‍♂️❤️.”

Katie is Katrina’s daughter with ex-partner Kris Lawrence. In a past interview with Boy Abunda, Katrina opened up about the challenges and triumphs of raising Katie, who was diagnosed with mild autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

"Nung mga almost three years old po siya, wala siyang eye contact 'pag tinatawag siya. Sabi nung doctor niya na ipa-check ko daw kasi walang eye contact, tapos basta mga ganun 'yung mga symptoms niya. Tapos 'yun nga na-diagnosed na po siya na meron," Katrina shared.

She admitted that parenting a child with autism was initially overwhelming.

"Medyo [mahirap] po 'pag hindi mo talaga inaral parang maguguluhan ka na lang. May times dati na naiiyak ako na hindi ko nakakasama 'yung anak ko, ang gulo-gulo, nagta-tantrums ng bonggang bongga... Mahirap pero kailangang tanggapin mo," she said.

Despite the struggles, Katrina expressed joy in seeing her daughter’s progress.

"Pero ngayon sobrang okay na siya, okay na siyang kasama, masarap siyang kasama, masarap siyang kausap. Sobrang sweet," she relayed.
