All eyes will be on Pinoy Big Brother alumnus JM Ibarra as he takes the runway for the highly anticipated Bench Body of Work fashion show tonight, March 21, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, JM expressed how surreal it feels to be a part of this huge event.

“Itong Bench Body of Work, excited din, of course. Kasi ito talaga yung mismo na papanood ko noon before pa ako mag-enter ng showbiz. And I don't know, hindi ako makapaniwala na isa na ako sa mga endorser,” he expressed.

JM shared how he used to watch the fashion show of the clothing brand before.

“Isa na rin ako sa mga rarampa na noon pinapanood ko lang, ngayon ako na yung mapapanood. So until now unbelievable pa rin,” JM shared.

The future leading man also opened up about how he's preparing his body for the runway.

“Pagdating naman sa preparation, siyempre pinaghahandaan ko pa rin. Kapag, ah, I mean, since nalaman ko na nakuha nga ako endorser, muli akong bumalik sa pag-gym, ganun,” he said.

He also mentioned how his diet is now focused on making him healthier and fitter: “Sa diet, I mean, nagbalik ako sa nagbalik ako sa diet ko noon nung nag-lose ako ng weight. Bumalik ako sa OMAD, which is yung one meal a day. And then, more protein yung kinakain ko ngayon.”

But JM also emphasized that this isn't just for the upcoming fashion show, but also to stay fit overall for all his future projects.

“Actually, hindi lang naman yung preparation (para sa fashion show), sa lahat na rin ang darating na projects. At ayun, para na rin sa akin sa sarili ko at least may guidance pa rin sa health,” he pointed out.

Meanwhile, aside from this, JM also showcases his active side through dancing and performing on the ABS-CBN weekend variety show ASAP Natin 'To.

JM admitted how amazing it feels to perform alongside some of the best artists, including his idol, OPM icon Gary Valenciano.

“Since nag-start ako mag-perform sa ASAP, si Sir Gary V na talaga yung wini-wish ko nun na makasama sa isang performance. And sakto lang na 30th anniversary ng ASAP at nagkasama kami sa isang performance, so hindi ko na-feel yung pagod nun,” he said.

He went on to say how he truly made the most of that moment: “As in in-enjoy ko nang sobra, sinulit ko nang sobra kasi. Si Sir Gary V na yan eh. Idol natin yun pagdating sa sayaw. So, masaya-masaya sa akin yung moment na yun."
