Former Pinoy Big Brother housemates Joj and Jai Agpangan recalled their time inside the Pinoy Big Brother house more than a decade ago. The two shared the experience and lessons they learned in an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN during the grand opening of The Corner House in San Juan City earlier this month.

Joj and Jai were both housemates at the second Teen Edition of PBB where they placed fourth. Kapuso actress Myrtle Sarrosa was hailed as the Big Winner of their batch back then.

When asked about the lessons they’ve learned while they were inside the PBB house, the twin sisters agreed in unison how they were shaped as people during their PBB stint. They shared how they became more independent and were able to step outside of their comfort zones.

“Actually kasi, nung nasa PBB house kami na shape kami as a person… mas lumaki talaga yung life namin after PBB kasi andaming nakuhang lessons like sa bahay lang matututo ka talaga,” Jai shared.

“Yan yun lesson na nagagamit until today kasi nahulma kami as independent women today and another one is to have fun,” Joj added.

They added how character development and patience became a huge factor for them once they stepped out to the outside world.

“Naenjoy namin yung life lalo and parang titibay talaga loob mo kasi ang daming struggles… So ma adapt mo talaga yung mga payo ni Kuya. Andami namin natutunan especially character development and pagiging pasensya mo sa bawat tao kasi iba iba yung personalities sa loob ng house,” Jai said.

“Growth mo as a person kasi inside the house is different talaga pag lumabas ka na–– makikilala ka pa rin ng mga tao kahit may tinatago ka. Lalabas pa rin yan kahit ano pa yan,” Joj maintained.

Meanwhile, Joj and Jai expressed how excited they are for the latest edition of PBB as they get to see the celebrities' true selves. They shared some tips for the celebrity housemates on being real while staying inside the PBB house.

“Especially ngayon kasi Celebrity edition. Before kasi pag celebrity ka may pinoportray ka na person pero sa inside the house, makikilala ka talaga ng mga tao. Wala na yung face mask or whatsoever,” Joj shared.

“Be you pa rin kahit kasi pakita mo nagagalit ka nagtatampo ka diyan okay lang kasi malolove at malolove ka ng tao if makikita nila na genuine ka. Be genuine,” Joj continued.

“Enjoy the moment and either way, kahit anong task malalabas yung bawat personality. So yun, aabangan natin. Basically, just enjoy the moment… Don’t be afraid to show your true colors,” Jai ended.
