Kim Atienza happily announced that he is finally able to ride his motorcycle once more after his near-death experience several weeks ago. The host took to his Instagram account to share the good news with his fans.

Kim was involved in an accident earlier this month which resulted in a broken rib.

“When you fall off...get back on your horse!--- ancient cowboy saying,” he wrote.

The Kapuso news anchor admitted that there is a fear that develops after falling off but he needed to get over it as soon as possible before falling into that cycle.

“After falling off a bike getting back on immediately counteracts a fear that develops. You will find it harder to overcome that fear the more time passes and the more that our brains relive that fear over and over. Mamaya ayaw mo na sumakay,” he shared.

It was his first day riding his motorbike again after the injury. He expressed how thankful he is that he is able to ride once more.

“Maraming maraming salamat Lord, I am humbled by your blessings! Salamat I can ride,” he ended.

Friends and fans took to the comment section to express how brave the Kapuso star is for riding his motorbike again. Some netizens applauded his mental fortitude for overcoming the fear he described.

“Ingat po lagi Kuya Kim. God bless always po,” a fan wrote.

“Ang kulet naten @kuyakim_atienza! Will take that journey again with faith that are gonna be alright! Ingat po ha,” another fan added.

Previously, Kim shared that it was a miracle that the Fire Emergency Paramedic Assistance group (FEPAG) EMS PHILS were right behind him and saw the crash. The injury caused him to miss work for several weeks in order for him to make a full recovery.
