Kapuso actress Myrtle Sarrosa revealed that she had her first heartbreak during her stint in the Pinoy Big Brother house back in 2012. She made the revelation through an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda earlier this week. 

Myrtle emerged as the Big Winner of their edition followed by Karen Reyes, Roy Requejo, and Jai and Joj Agpangan, respectively.

The Kapuso star shared that she only realized that she experienced love once she stepped outside the PBB house. She was previously linked to ex-housemate Yves Flores while they were both housemates in the hit reality show. 

Both Myrtle and Yves were 17 years old during their stint in PBB. Prior to entering the PBB house, he had a girlfriend whom the Kapuso actress didn’t know about.

“I wouldn’t know back then because I was 17 years old never pa ako nag ka boyfriend or anything so di ko alam what love really was,” she said.

“Siguro, back then na ano talaga ako, I did get hurt. I didn’t know he had a girlfriend outside. Nung nalaman ko dun, akala ko kasi wala siyang girlfriend. Doon ko parang na experience yung first heartbreak ko na hindi ko alam [that] was actually love,” she added. 

Myrtle maintained that she didn’t know back then that she already fell in love with him due to her young age. 

“Back then, I would still say na I don’t know if I really like him or did I really fall in love or something but we were really young,” she maintained.

Meanwhile, she expressed that everything that happened inside the PBB house isn’t scripted and whatever the housemates have shown is a reflection of who they are.

“Hindi po talaga scripted… Like, every single experience doon hindi namin expect yung mga mangyayari and lahat ng nasasabi namin nasabi namin yun dahil yun yung mga nararamdaman namin at that moment,” she assured.
