Kapamilya actress Kathleen Hermosa took to her Facebook account to express her frustration after she was allegedly scammed by an online seller. The Starla actress recounted the details of how she lost almost ₱2,000 due to the alleged scam.

Kathleen was buying the trending Thailand sausage on the Facebook Marketplace through the online seller but the product never reached her despite paying in advance already.

She shared how much of a “pro” the alleged scammer was as the account they used seemed to be trustworthy.

“In the Marketplace, you cannot demand to pay once [an] item is delivered because maybe for seller’s protection too. Well, they can do COD also. But for most, they do not allow [it],” she wrote.

Kathleen maintained that the account she was talking to looked legit as she did her research about the profile of the alleged scammer. She wanted to purchase the sausage and have it delivered immediately in Cebu where she’s currently at.

“For a sausage, hindi sya mura ha? Paid 1,900+ for it. Magaling sila and their modus. Complete product details. And the attitude when conversing is a legit seller too. I searched now for the name, some concerned friends searched for the seller too and I strongly believe I got scammed,” she added.

The Kapamilya actress added that she hasn’t seen the Facebook profile of the alleged scammer as of this writing. Rather than getting mad over the loss of her hard earned money, Kathleen shared that she prayed for the scammer instead.

“I prayed for the scammer. I hope the money fed you and your family.

"I also prayed that you try to find a dignified job because all the money you guys scammed it from —- are all hard earned money. Ilang live sell din yan, ilang hustle din yan. Ilang items sold din yan for a slim comm. Yet we choose to do what honors God kasi whats important is where we are going after our lives here on Earth,” she said.

Meanwhile, friends and fans of Kathleen expressed their support in the comment section and hoped that she would able to get her money back.
