Kapamilya singer and actress Alexa Ilacad just bought a designer bag to celebrate her 25th birthday. This was revealed in a recent TikTok post shared by content creator and businesswoman Jay-Ann Claire Bincal where the Pinoy Big Brother host made the luxury purchase.

This will be Alexa’s first time purchasing a white designer bag–– something that she will be adding to her collection of mostly black luxury bags.

“I’m so happy,” she shared in the video.

Alexa bought the Chanel 19 in white and mixed hardware for ₱240,000. She expressed how she’s been on the lookout for a white bag as she starts building her collection of luxury bags.

“I’ve been eyeing for a white bag. No brand naman na specific… Napansin ko na wala pala akong white na bag. There are times na let’s say yung outfit ko hindi bagay yung black na bag or pag gusto ko mag pa girl yung mga naka dress dapat sana mas maganda kung white bag,” she shared.

This would be the Kapamilya actress’s third item in her Chanel collection–– she owns a Classic Flap and a Le Boy both in black and gold hardware. She shared how she does her research first before making the decision to buy the luxury goods.

“I’m not the type of person na [who] just buys and buys and buys bags. As much as I want to do that, siyempre hindi naman sila mura. I really think hard about the bags na binibili ko and gusto ko investment pieces,” she said.

Alexa was joined by KD Estrada when she visited the shop of the content creator as she jokingly shared that it was the latter who’ll be carrying the bag anyway.

For the PBB host, her decision to buy the luxury bag as her birthday gift for herself was very much worth it when she saw it in person. She revealed that she’s set to make her first Hermes purchase when she hits 30.

“May timeline na ako ngayon. Sabi ko, sana pag 30 years old ko, doon ako makabili ng first Hermes ko–– Birkin or Kelly. Malamang mas mahal lalo kasi ilang beses nag pri-price increase yun sa isang taon,” she declared.

In the same video, she expressed that she has no problem if she’ll be buying a preloved item as she knows the worth of the bags.

“I don’t mind buying preloved. Una minsan ang hirap na din makabili sa store talaga. Kapag gamit mo na hindi ka naman tatanungin na preloved ba yang bag mo at tsaka so what?” she said.

Meanwhile, Alexa is currently starring in the original Filipino musical, Liwanag sa Dilim, where she is joined by Khalil Ramos, CJ Navato, and Rita Daniela, among others. The musical runs from March 7 until April 13 at the CPR Auditorium, RCBC Plaza in Makati City.
