Veteran actress Delia Razon’s granddaughter, Kapuso star Carla Abellana, paid tribute to her beloved grandmother, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 94.

Abellana shared a series of photos with Razon, capturing their close bond throughout the years. In her caption, she described her grandmother with admiration, calling her “the strongest, bravest, fiercest, and most beautiful.”

Among the photos Abellana posted was a childhood letter she had written for her grandmother. In the letter, she asked permission to borrow a children’s Bible, promising to return it after reading it, as the book talks about God. She also expressed her gratitude to her grandmother for giving them the Bible. The letter ended with an affectionate note: “I love you verry verry verry much.”

Despite the tribute, Abellana did not disclose any details regarding the cause of Razon’s passing.

Razon, whose real name was Lucy May G. Reyes, was a celebrated actress from the golden age of Philippine cinema. She starred in numerous classic films under Sampaguita Pictures, including "Mutya ng Pasig" (1950), "Florante at Laura" (1950), and "Prinsipe Amante" (1950).
