"Motherhood didn't slow me down... it fueled my fire."

Winwyn Marquez made this statement on Instagram as she shared her swimsuit photos for Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) 2025.

"A proud mom in my 30s... and I've never felt this strong, this healthy, or this unstoppable," said the 32-year-old actress and celebrity mom, who looked stunning in her white one-piece swimwear.
 

It was in 2023 when Miss Universe removed age limits and allowed moms and married women to participate in its pageant and its affiliated contests. 

Previously, delegates need to be single and 18 to 28 years old by the start of the international competition.

Winwyn Marquez focuses on 'authenticity' in sharing her motherhood journey

Marquez's MUPH 2025 stint marks her return to pageantry after 8 years. 

She made history in 2017 after being the first Filipina to join -- and eventually win -- the Latina-dominated Reina Hispanoamericana pageant. 

Aside from her success in pageantry, Marquez is also known for her showbiz roots. She is the daughter of screen veterans Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno, and cousin of fellow beauty queen-actress Michelle Dee, who finished in the Top 10 of Miss Universe 2023. 

The MUPH 2025 coronation night will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on May 2.
