Kim Soo-hyun's agency has denied renewed allegations that the South Korean actor dated the late actress Kim Sae-ron after the claims resurfaced on YouTube, according to reports.

On Monday, YouTube channel Hoverlab Inc. alleged that Soo-hyun and Sae-ron, who were once under the same agency Gold Medalist, were in a relationship for six years, including a period when the actress was only 15-years old. The two stars have a 13-year age gap.

Gold Medalist later denied the claims, Korean news agency Yonhap and entertainment website Soompi reported.

"The claims made by HoverLab Inc. in their YouTube broadcast about Kim Soo Hyun are clearly false and baseless," Gold Medalist said in the statement posted in full and translated into English by Soompi.

"We are currently reviewing the strongest possible legal actions against HoverLab Inc. for spreading these falsehoods," the company said.

Gold Medalist said it was also "saddened by the passing" of Sae-ron, "who was once part of our agency."

"We mourn her loss," it added.

Soo-hyun, known for his roles in "My Love From the Star" and "Queen of Tears," and Sae-ron were caught in dating rumors in 2024 after the young actress shared a photo with him on her Instagram Stories. At the time, Gold Medalist also denied the speculation.

Sae-ron was found dead in her home on February 16. She was 24.

Prior to her death, Sae-ron was a popular child star whose entertainment career took a hit due to a drunk driving incident in 2022. That same year, Sae-ron left Gold Medalist after her contract with the agency expired.
