It’s Showtime host Jhong Hilario recently took his partner Maia Azores and daughter Sarina on a trip to Los Angeles.

In their latest vlog, Jhong shared their visit to the Sloomoo Institute, an interactive slime museum designed for children.

“Later pupunta kami sa Sloomoo Institute. Hindi siya yung mabagal na slowmo. Yung mga bata maglalaro ng slime. I'm sure sobrang mage-enjoy sila dahil napakalaking lugar for children. Parang different world sa kanila ito kasi nga marami silang malalarong slime. Iba’t iba mae-experience nila doon,” Jhong first shared in the vlog.

The family had fun with activities like customizing with their names and touching various types of slime.

One highlight was Sarina’s adventure at the Sloomoo Falls, where she bravely stepped under a slime shower. She also explored a slime-made playground.

“Good job, Sari!” Jhong praised his daughter.

The family also participated in a hands-on slime-making session where Maia teased Jhong, saying, “Enjoy na enjoy si Daddy.”

Maia advised viewers to dress appropriately for the activity, as slime can be messy, something Jhong and Sarina experienced firsthand.

Aside from their slime adventure, the family also visited Hollywood Hills and spent two days at Disneyland.

“We’re BACK in Los Angeles, and this trip was even more epic! 🚀 From diving into the world’s #1 slime experience at @sloomooinstitute , to Jhong experiencing his first-ever NBA game live, exploring Beverly Hills, and capturing iconic shots at the Hollywood Sign, this trip was packed with unforgettable moments!” they shared in a joint Instagram post.

The family recreated old photos from their 2023 visit at Hollywood Hills before heading to Disneyland, where Sarina dressed as Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. She met beloved Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Mary Poppins, Gaston, Mirabel (Encanto), and Captain Hook (Peter Pan).

One of the highlights was Sarina meeting her favorite Disney Princesses such as Aurora, Ariel, and Snow White and hugging them and posing for photos.

The family also enjoyed Disneyland’s parade of characters and thrilling rides, including Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Toontown, Autopia, Submarine Voyage, and Astro Blasters.

“Sobrang nagenjoy siya and ang dami naming rides na ansakyan and ang daming characters and princess na napicturan,” Jhong said. “Nakakapagod pero worth it naman dahil alam namin na masaya si Sarina. Ang bilis ng panahon. Ilang taon na lang siya bata.”

On the second day, Sarina dressed as Anna from Frozen and explored Disney California Adventure, where she met Elsa, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Sadness (Inside Out), and characters from Monsters, Inc.

The trip was not just special for Sarina but also for Jhong, who ticked off a major item from his bucket list: watching an NBA game live.

“First time watching the NBA. Bucket list iyon. After 48 years, nanonood ako ng NBA live. Hopefully makita ko si Lebron,” Jhong said with excitement.

Before the game at Crypto.com Arena, Jhong posed for a photo with the statue of the late basketball legend Kobe Bryant. He then watched the LA Lakers take on the Portland Trail Blazers and shared his excitement from the experience.

“Ang sarap ng experience. First time. Nasa loob kami kanina, umorder ng hotdogs, beer, nanood ng mga warm-ups. Nice one. Nice experience. Bucket list, done!” Jhong said.
