Actress and producer Sylvia Sanchez took to social media to express her heartfelt appreciation for her daughter, Ria Atayde, as the latter embraced her journey into motherhood.

 

In an Instagram post, Sylvia reflected on how being a mother has always been an innate trait in Ria.

 

“Even when you were little, while I was away at work, you instinctively took on the role of protector and nurturer for your siblings,” Sylvia said.

 



 

The actress praised her daughter saying, “Motherhood was always in you—it’s who you are @Ria.”

The actress also expressed her pride in seeing Ria care for her son, Sabino.

 

“And now, seeing you step into this beautiful new chapter, my heart overflows with pride,” she said.

 

 

She ended her message complimenting Ria, saying, “You are radiant, more gorgeous than ever, and I know you will be an incredible mother to Sabino! Love you my Potpot 😘😘😘 #gandamo nak ❤️.”

 

Ria then replied, “Love you Ma!”

 

Sylvia’s second daughter, Time to Dance host and dancer Gela Atayde also commented, “Ako talaga panganay niya @ria 🤣.”

Sabino was born in September 2024 and they have been sharing glimpses of him through the year. 

“Starting the New Year with great memories with the newest member of our Family, our little Boss! 😃❤️ Happy New Year to one and all 💥💥💥 #happiness ❤️ #thankuLORD 🙏🙏🙏,” Sylvia said alongside photos from their family gathering.

 



 

Ria has also shared snippets of her transition into married life and motherhood.

 

"A little MIA but a whole lot of life and love these past few months. Thank you to everyone who has helped make it easier and a lot of more fun," Ria wrote.

 

Earlier in February, Ria posted a video from her son’s baptism, which was attended by several celebrities who stood as Sabino’s godparents.

“Thank you to the Ninongs and Ninangs who said yes to being a part of the village that will raise our child,” Ria said.

 

“And thank you to the rest of that village who came and celebrate this milestone with us 🤍 we love you all and appreciate the love you have for Sabino ✨,” she added.
