Kapamilya television personality Robi Domingo recently took to social media to share an update after visiting the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

On his Instagram page, he recounted his discussion with Atty. Jerome Bomediano, Chief of the NBI-Organized and Transnational Crime Division (NBI-OTCD), regarding filing complaints.

“ACCOUNTABILITY. I visited the NBI today and met with Chief Bomediano and Atty. Tucay. Thank you for answering all my questions!” Robi wrote.

He then listed key points he learned from their discussion, saying, “1. You can file a complaint against any government agency, especially if your safety is at risk. It’s free to file. 2. Always take screenshots of your complaint and the URL. Even if it’s deleted, the digital trace is still there. (If someone deletes it, it could show intent.) 3. Whether it’s a troll or not, there’s a real person behind the screen, and they are still responsible for their actions.”

Robi ended his update with a reminder for everyone to be kind and responsible online.

“Remember, every action has consequences, whether online or offline. Let’s be kind and take responsibility. 👍🏻,” he expressed.

He also shared a photo of the NBI office with a caption emphasizing accountability.

“Accountability: the practice of being responsible for your actions and the consequences that result from them,” he said.

Robi’s visit to the NBI follows a recent online threat he received from a troll account regarding Donny Pangilinan and Kathryn Bernardo being judges in the upcoming season of Pilipinas Got Talent, which Robi will be hosting.

The now-deleted comment read: “@iamrobidomingo ay subukan mo lang na i-match si @donny at @bernardokath ready ready and solid supporters ni Belle Mariano na ibash ka mula ulo mo hanggang paa. WAG MO ITOLERATE yung KA LANDIAN ng peste mong kaibigan.”

Robi responded by questioning whether the comment could be considered a threat and if legal action could be taken.

“Can I consider this as a threat? Can I take legal actions against this? I don't tolerate this behavior,” he said.

His response quickly gained traction on X (formerly Twitter), with fans and netizens encouraging him to take legal action against the troll.

Robi later clarified why the comment was no longer visible on his post, stating, “BTW, I didn’t delete the comment the troll made. It was him/her who removed it from the comment section thus deleting the whole thread. (Also, it may become additional proof of intent because of malice).”

Robi then replied on his X account after a fan asked him about the process of his complaints.

Robi’s fellow hosts and friends, Melai CAntiveros and Bianca Gonzalez showed their support fthor e Kapamilya artist.

“Go Rob!!! 🙌🙌🙌,” Bianca said.

Melai added, “Gogogo Robi d Sa Gabi.”

Another one reminded, “Regardless of intent, it's important to remain accountable for our actions in the digital space. Engaging in cyber threats, even under the guise of trolling, is not advisable and can have serious consequences. Responsible online behavior ensures a safer and more ethical digital environment for everyone.”

Robi is set to host the newest season of ABS-CBN’s Pilipinas Got Talent together with Melai. They also announced the names of this season’s judges including Kathryn, Donny, actress-comedian Eugene Domingo, and former ABS-CBN president Freddie M. Garcia.
