Angelina Cruz, the daughter of actress Sunshine Cruz and actor Cesar Montano, has officially graduated from college. On her social media page, Angelina shared photos from her graduation ceremony, where both of her parents were present to celebrate the milestone.

“Filled with so much gratitude. What an honor it has been to learn, grow, and graduate!! 💚,” Angelina shared. 

Angelina earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management from De La Salle University Manila. 

Her parents, Sunshine and Cesar, expressed their pride and joy through heartfelt messages on their respective social media pages.

“1 down.👩‍🎓 Angelina! We are so proud of you! I've always prayed for this,” Sunshine wrote.

“Keep shining and we will be by your side all the way. We love you! Congratulations!❣️🎓🥰,” she added.

Angelina’s younger sister, Sam Cruz, also congratulated her, commenting, “Congrats ate @angelinaisabele.” 

Sunshine responded with encouragement, saying, "@samcruzm, you're next, Sam. 🙏🥰."

The family marked the occasion with a special dinner celebration, which they shared on their Instagram stories.

"Proud of you, Angelina! We love you,” Sunshine posted 

Cesar Montano also expressed his excitement and pride over his daughter's academic achievement.

“Congrats "BUCHING" Angelina Isabelle C. Montano & to all De Lasalle graduates today!!! HAPPY GRADUATION DAY!!!” the actor said.

He went on: “I can't be more proud of you my baby Buching!! May our Great God in heaven continue to protect & guide you in your life. In JESUS NAME!!! Amen! Labyu! Anak !!!❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.”

Several celebrities and personalities extended their congratulations to Angelina in the comment section. Geneva Cruz, Mavy Legaspi, Teejay Marquez, and beauty queens Nicole Cordoves and Stacey Gabriel were among those who sent their well wishes.

“So so proud and happy for u! ❤️,” Leon Barretto commented.

Social media personality-turned-actor and Angelina’s close friend, Esnyr Ranollo, also expressed excitement, saying, “I AM SO SO PROUD OF U!!!!!!”

Angelina’s eldest brother, Diego Loyzaga, joined in the celebration with an enthusiastic comment, “CONGRATUMALATIONS !!!!!!!”

Angelina completed high school at De La Salle-Santiago Zobel in 2020, with her mother proudly celebrating the milestone by sharing her graduation portrait on Instagram, saying: "May kolehiyala na ako!"

Beyond academics, Angelina has pursued a career in both music and acting. In 2022, she released her single "Ayoko Lang," a sultry-sweet Filipino track about healing from heartbreak.

She has also ventured into acting, taking on the role of Iris in Love Is Color Blind alongside Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.

Discussing her move from music to acting in a previous interview, Angelina shared, "The transition from singing to acting is pretty challenging. My last project was a sitcom, so it was very light and different from filming a movie, which requires a lot more detail. I had to learn, adapt, and thankfully, I got guidance from Direk Leo (Garcia), who helped me with emotions and character development."

Angelina said her mom gave her reminders on how to be professional in acting.

"When I told my mom about it, that this was my first project and first movie, she advised me to master the script, practice my lines—the basic advice,” she recalled. “But more importantly, she told me to really know my characters well and understand the entire concept because that’s what truly helps.”
