Bernadette Sembrano shared how she celebrated her 50th birthday on February 18.

In an Instagram post, the TV Patrol news anchor relayed that she spent her natal day similar to how she spends her everyday life.

"I did nothing new on my birthday… I hugged my asawa and uni before I headed off to the podium to run to catch the sunrise," she shared.

The journalist went on: "I did nothing out of the ordinary—I did Pilates (BFF gave her slot), did a video call. I spent time with my good neighbors too… and the sunshine friends—which I would, too, even if it were not my birthday. And I went to work too :) Many things I do every day, I do like clockwork. Like today."

Bernadette remarked that she's grateful for the everyday occurrences in her life.

"At 50, I thank God that I still am in awe and grateful for many occurrences that seem just ordinary. Thank you, Lord, for my extraordinary eyes! It is the heart that sees clearly. Salamat po," she stated.

Netizens online were quick to greet Bernadette on her birthday.

"Happy happy birthday ate B 🎂🎉🥳 God bless you with good health and continued happiness," one fan commented.

"Happy birthday @iambernadettesembrano! Turning 50 in a few days too! Cheers to being 50 🫰🏻🙌 if you did nothing new then it means contentment! What a beautiful way to spend your first day being 50," another fan wrote.

Recently, Bernadette marked another milestone in her life as her dream house approaches its near completion.

In a YouTube vlog back in September 2024, Bernadette shared an update about the farmhouse she is building.

"Matagal ko ng pangarap na tumira sa bukid so this is a dream come true for us," she said.

The house, which is located inside an eight to nine hectare farm, aims to be a space for the friends and loved ones of Bernadette.

"When our plans to have children fell through, tuloy pa rin ang kagustuhan namin to have a family or better yet to take care of our family and close friends kaya ang itinatayo nating bahay ay para sa pamilya," she highlighted.

The news anchor relayed that the vision of her dream home is to be "a universal house."

She explained: "Ibig sabihin iisipin mo kahit sinong pwedeng tumira dito mapabata, mapamatanda, mapa-PWD, kahit ano dapat at least wine-welcome mo sila, so ito 'yung family house natin."
