“I’ve been rehearsing everyday so the musical has occupied my first quarter. Valentines was like an hour in a day. i got home from rehearsals, went straight to her house to give her flowers because I didn’t want her to bring it around taping the next day. I went to her taping the next day for lunch then I went to rehearsals. Literally one hour per day lang kasi we’re so busy. We’re not complaining though. We’re super happy. But this year, we’re privileged enough to find time within our busy schedules to see each other pa rin,” he shared.

On his Instagram post, Khalil revealed that his meal dates with Gabbi lasted for one hour each. He wrote, “Valentine’s midnight and lunch date for our 8th Valentine’s Day 🖤 Through the years, we’ve realized how much the little things matter. So even with our crazy schedules, we made sure to squeeze in at least two hours for a Valentine’s celebration. ❤️@gabbi’s reaction in the last photo (already in her PJs, lol) was a reminder for me of why I choose to love her every day. Happy Hearts day everyone!”

“Maybe it’s a side that they will never see simply because I’m the only person aside from her family who would probably be able to get it out of her, yung makulit side niya. Because you’ll always see Gabbi na poised siya and she’s very prim and proper, very eloquent, especially now as she embarks on a hosting journey. She’s always glammed up and everything. But at home, whenever we’re out on dates, dun lumalabas yung makulit side niya. She’s very makulit.

"She would often say na nahahawa na siya sa humor ko (laughs). Because my humor is just stupid, my humor is stupid humor eh. I laugh at the stupidest things. We’ve been together eight years so talagang nahawa na kami sa isa’t isa. Ako naman nahawa ako sa work ethic niya and vice-versa. It’s that makulit side that is totally opposite from her side as Gabbi Garcia,” he explained.
