Socialite and content creator Small Laude shared a heartfelt tribute to her father, Andres Eduardo, who passed away on January 31.

In a video posted on her YouTube channel, Small compiled the moments of her late father from past vlogs, showcasing his humor and personality.

Known for his playful antics, Andres often acted indifferent on camera but was warm and engaging off-screen.

“Basta may camera, hindi siya sasagot ng maayos. Sure iyon, one hundred percent. Medyo nag-o-OA, pero kapag wala na ang camera, ayan na, okay na siyang kausap," Small shared.

She highlighted her father’s love for food, his fondness for singing in front of their family, and his jokes about asking his children for money.

The latter part of the hour-long video showed how their family bid their final farewell.

Small recalled receiving the devastating news about her dad while on vacation in the U.S. Her eldest sister, Alice Eduardo, informed her that their father had been rushed to the hospital.

“Hello, guys! You know this is a tribute for my dad and as you can see, supposedly dapat three weeks kami sa LA but na-cut short yung trip because I got a call from Ate. It’s the hardest and the worst call that I got,” Small recalled.

“I thought it was biglaan lang na usually dinadala namin si Dad sa ER (emergency room) and wala namang problema pero ito ang pinaka-worst. When Ate called me, I saw my Dad na parang they were putting an IV in. Parang pain na pain siya noong pinapasok,” she added.

Small shared her father’s last words to her, saying, “Nakasabi pa iyong Dad ko na, ‘Small nasaan ka ba? Huwag ka muna kumain.' That was the last words na sinabi niya kasi hindi ko na matake na naglalagay sila ng IV kay Dad.”

Despite knowing the severity of his condition, Small hoped he would recover.

“The doctor and si Ate told me and sabi nila I have to book the first flight out for Manila. So sa isip ko this is serious. Sabi ng doctor, ‘Small, you have to come home and call everyone na, si Alice,'” Small emotionally remembered.

“Noong last vlog ko, sobrang saya ni Daddeh tapos ayon na pala yung last na usap ko sa kaniya. Sabi ng doctor na baka hindi ko na raw maabutan si Dad. Ang sabi ko, ‘No! I cannot even accept,'” she continued.

Small shared a heartbreaking clip of her sister calling their bedridden father, telling him she was on her way home.

“We booked the first flight to Manila and it took 18 hours and it was the longest flight of my life. Sobrang I was praying to God, kneeling, nakikiusap ako,” she expressed.

Upon arriving at the hospital, she saw her entire family gathered around their father’s bed.

“I saw the kids, lahat na, my siblings, they were all there. I saw that my Dad was there na. Sina Ate was crying and that’s the time na the doctor said, ‘You really have to say everything na and maririnig kayo ng Dad,’” she shared.

“I was hoping na mauuwi pa namin si Dad and praying na ‘Lord, can you give my Dad several months or year kasi gusto ko pa magbonding with my Dad kasi I want to spend more time.’"

Andres passed away an hour and a half after she arrived.

“My dad waited for me and after one and half hours, nag-passed on na siya,” Small said. “When I saw my Dad on the table, that’s the time I realized my Dad is gone. Even my ate, who’s the strongest, cried.”

“That’s the most traumatizing, traumatic and painful moment of my life.”

The family held a wake where loved ones delivered eulogies for Andres Eduardo. Among those who paid their respects were TV Patrol anchor Karen Davila, Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Pops Fernandez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Vicki Belo, Ryan Bang, Donnalyn Bartolome, and Franco Laurel.

“Miss na miss ko na si Daddeh at mga siblings ko. Siya ang alam ko nagpatawa, nagpasaya rin sa inyo. Mamimiss natin siya sa vlog,” Small said.

“To each and everyone of you, thank you guys for all the love and support. It means so much to the family during this difficult time. We really need support and thank you so much for loving Daddeh,” she added.

She announced she would take a short break but promised to continue vlogging, keeping her father’s memory alive.

“Sobrang miss na miss ka na namin. I love you, Daddeh,” Small expressed.
