Geneva Cruz took to social media to pen a heartfelt post for her non-showbiz boyfriend, Dean Roxas, on Valentine's Day.

"Thank you for the flowers, Dean. You continue to surprise me!" Geneva posted on Instagram after her boyfriend surprised her with a bouquet of flowers.

Reflecting on her relationship with Dean, the singer remarked: "I know that different relationships bring out various versions of us, and I really love the version of me that I get to be with and through you."

"I am grateful for our connection that goes beyond the surface. 🙏🏼 Thank you for being my best friend and for your unconditional love," she added.

In an interview back in January, Geneva opened up about her relationship with Dean, highlighting that she is grateful to have found love again.

"This year is going to be extra special because I opened myself to love once again. I think that’s pretty special because for many years, since 2020, sarado talaga. But now I’m just really happier and grateful. He’s here and I’m very, very proud of him. He inspires me," she remarked.

Geneva revealed that meeting Dean made her realize she was ready to love again after years of being single.

"Parang mas dumarating kapag hindi mo ini-expect. So ayun. I’ve been happy single for many years. I’m just happier now, you know. Kahit naman strong tayo, masarap din ‘yung meron kang nasasandalan," she shared.

The singer went on: "Kasi for a long time din I’ve been single. For the past five years I’ve been single and I’m just grateful that I have this. Nandito ako sa aking strong but soft girl era (laughs). Masarap din ‘yung pakiramdam. So I need to get introduced to my feminine side."

Geneva shared that Dean is a national athlete, a member of the Philippine Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu National Team, and a coach at Lucas Lepri Philippines.

"I’m just very proud of him," Geneva remarked.
