Kris Aquino took to social media to express her gratitude to those who celebrated her birthday with her on Valentine's Day.

In an Instagram post, Kris shared the snapshots of her family and friends, celebrating her natal day with her. She also shared photos of the gifts she received on her birthday, including Care Bears stuffed toys and flowers.

"I want to thank all my friends for taking time to greet me last night (asalto) and my friends from OC (Orange County), who flew in," she posted.

The TV host also thanked those who have been supporting her journey towards recovery. "But above all- I thank you for being with me, kuya Josh, and Bimb during my journey towards recovery," she said.

Friends and fans of Kris online were quick to extend their birthday greetings for her

"Happy, happy birthday and wishing you a healthy and happy year ahead ❤️❤️❤️," Bianca Gonzalez commented.

"Happy Birthday Queen of all Media🎂🎉🥳 and Happy Heart’s Day," one fan wrote.

"Prayers for good health on your birthday and many birthdays to come...we love you Kris🙏💛💐🎉🎈🎂💯," another fan said.

In September 2024, Kris returned to the Philippines years after seeking treatment in the US for her autoimmune disease.

"The reason I decided to go home is because I need to start my second immunosuppressant infusions in 2-3 weeks (it’s a gentler term for chemotherapy)," she revealed in a post back in September 2024.

Kris remarked that she wanted to draw strength from her family during that period in her life.

"Emotionally I need the encouragement and unwavering faith my sisters & cousins, closest friends, and trusted team of doctors can provide… sadly what was the BATTLE TO IMPROVE MY HEALTH is now THE STRUGGLE TO PROTECT MY VITAL ORGANS. This is now the FIGHT OF MY LIFE," she said.

The TV host also previously revealed that she had been battling four autoimmune conditions. "We are still waiting for the results of 2 more autoimmune conditions," she disclosed back in September 2024.
