MPL-PH Season 14 Champs ONIC PH unveils new roster with a returning member

MPL - Philippines Season 14 champions ONIC Philippines have unveiled their new roster for the upcoming Season 15 of the professional esports league.

“With our newest addition, the Super Family grows stronger. Here’s ONIC PH's official roster for MPL Philippines Season 15!” the organization wrote in their recent video on Facebook.

The esports team revealed that their winning roster from last season remains intact, featuring Frince Miguel 'Super Frince' Ramirez, King Cyric 'K1NGKONG' Perez, Jann 'Kirk' Gutierrez, Borris James 'Brusko' Parro, and the Finals MVP of Season 14, Grant Duane 'Kelra' Pillas.

The video took us on a tour of ONIC team members' trips, including their travels to Bali, Indonesia, and Shanghai, China.

But the real highlight came at the end, when they revealed the return of former ONIC member and MPL-PH veteran Jaylord 'Hate' Gonzalez.

Gonzalez, better known by his in-game name “Hate,” last played for ONIC Philippines during Season 7. He was also part of the team during the M3 World Championship, where they finished in second place.

Before returning to ONIC this coming MPL-PH season, Hate played as the mid laner for TNC Pro Team.

Apart from the six players, the organization also announced that coaches Anthony 'YnoT' Senedrin and former MPL-PH veteran player Jeniel 'YellyHaze' Bata-Anon will remain with the team.

In a separate Instagram post, the organization announced that they are indeed back—and bolder than ever.

The hedgehogs captioned, “The super family is back - but bolder. We’re coming for more. We want ‘em all.”

The MPL-PH champions, dubbed as the “Super Family” for their exceptional playmaking and skills, achieved great success last season. In addition to being the national champions, they are also the defending champions of the M6 World Championship in 2024.

The team also holds the longest win streak in MPL-PH history, with an impressive 13 consecutive wins, and finished undefeated in their M6 series run in Malaysia in 2024.

In the meantime, ONIC PH is competing in the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 APAC - Challenge Finals.
