Actress Gabbi Garcia revealed that as much as it was her childhood dream to wear the Miss Universe crown, things are much more complicated now. In a recent supplement brand event where she was introduced as its brand endorser, the Pinoy Big Brother host revealed that she needs to weigh things first before committing herself to join the prestigious pageant.





Fans of the Kapuso actress have voiced their opinions on social media on how they would want to see her compete in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines competition. 



Gabbi admitted that she has always envisioned herself winning the beauty pageant. She claimed that her answer to the question will always remain the same–– “it’s a childhood dream.”


“Paano ko ba sasabihin ito? In my case kasi, I always say this to all the interviews––– if you ask me if I want to join, it’s a childhood dream. I really envisioned myself walking [and] wearing the crown, etc.,” she shared.

Despite it being her childhood dream, she admitted that the reality now is things are more complicated than what people think. 


“But things are kind of complicated now that I’m in the industry–– I’m [in] my 11th year in the industry. It’s kind of more complicated at the backend. People do not see the behind the scenes which are more on the contracts, the papers, lockouts, brands, network, [etc.] so it gets complicated there,” she said.


The Kapuso actress, however, isn’t closing her doors just yet and revealed that she still has to “weigh things” on whether she would grab the opportunity or not. 


“We don’t know. Let's see if maaayos or I don’t know if it’s the right decision or it’s just something that  I really want. I have to weigh things,” she added.



If ever she decides to join the world of pageantry, former Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee previously expressed her support for whatever decision she may have. For this, Gabbi shared that she is grateful to have a friend such as the beauty queen. 


“Of course, Michelle is a friend and likewise to her in everything that she’s gonna do, she also has my full support. She’s a friend so I’m grateful,” she ended.
