Actress Kiray Celis proves that success goes beyond showbiz, revealing that she earned ₱8 million in just six months through online sales from her business.

Now a thriving entrepreneur, Kiray has ventured into the beauty and wellness industry, owning food supplement brands.

In an interview with MJ Marfori, she shared how she quickly recovered her initial investment.

"Agad-agad din po. Kailangang masipag ka lang talaga kaya po since nagpahinga rin ako sa mga taping, dito po ako nag-allot ng time ko and wala na akong nila-live na iba, ito na lang," she said.

Kiray highlighted that she is currently focused on entrepreneurship, with show business taking a back seat for now.

"Mag-giguesting-guesting pa naman pero taping po siguro na parang mga serye hindi po muna kasi make sure ko muna na okay 'yung flow ng business. I think ito muna 'yung priority ko," she said.

Kiray's products are available in e-commerce platforms. She also conducts live selling alongside her staff to promote and sell their products.

The actress admitted that there were people online who looked down on her for being a live seller. However, she remained committed to it, knowing the positive impact that her business has on many people.

"Actually ang daming nagko-comment sa akin, 'Live seller ka na, hindi ka na artista? Siguro wala kang work.' Ang daming ganun. Ang daming parang, 'Ay hindi na siya artista kasi wala na siyang work. Ay nagtitinda na lang siya.' Pero hindi niyo po alam 'yung nabibigay po ng live selling sa akin. Marami po akong natutulungang tao. Mas marami akong natutulungang tao," she shared.

She went on: "Sa pag-aartista ko po natutulungan ko 'yung pamilya ko, dito po mas marami po akong chance na nabibigyan ang ibang tao ng trabaho."

Kiray aims to continue growing her business, as it also enables her to support her sibling's children in their education.

"Last year nawalan kasi ako ng sister-in-law so may naiwan po akong dalawang pamangkin na ako na 'yung naging nanay. So ngayon po ako ang nagpapa-aral sa kanila at sa akin po sila nakatira kaya po mas marami akong responsibilidad," she said.
