Anne Curtis on competing in Hyrox with husband Erwan Heussaff: ‘I only did five days of training’

<p>Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis and her husband, Erwan Heussaff, joined their first-ever Hyrox competition in Seoul, South Korea last November. Well, this is our very first Hyrox,” Anne shared.</p><p>In the short interview, a glimpse of what they were doing in the race was shown. The Kapamilya actress was seen cheering on her husband as he did his routine. </p><p>“We did okay, we finished. It was really challenging but the energy here was absolutely amazing. It was a good first race and we’ll definitely do it again,” Erwan expressed.</p><p>Anne then revealed that she only had five days of training coming into the race which is why it’s a reason for her to come back in the future with more preparation. </p><p>“I think when you’re pushing 40 or when you’re close to that, it’s always to find goals and challenges to push yourself. This is just a great way to kind of put functional fitness to the test,” Erwan continued.</p><p>The <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/itsshowtime"><em><strong>It’s Showtime</strong></em></a> host maintained that she had fun as she did the race not only with Erwan but her group of friends as well. Actresses Solenn Heusaff and Isabelle Daza were also present at the Hyrox event.</p><p>“I think our group of friends really liked the challenge. It was a group thing that we decided to do Hyrox so all of us are competing today. Even if it’s kind of a competitive sport, what matters is we all had fun. You can definitely count on us joining again–– maybe with more training,” Anne assured.</p><p>The two agreed that they’re looking to compete in the next Hyrox race but this time in Paris.  </p><p>“Hopefully, we’ll see you in Paris guys,” Anne ended. </p>
