Sofia Andres shares frustration on Cebu flooding: ‘Silence revealed what truly destroys us. Greed’

She, just like the hundreds of thousands who reposted the story, is frustrated with the flooding that happened.</p><p>“Mad because the people have done their part to prepare (food, emergency kits, meds &amp; more) but the flood control projects which could have saved us all from this situation are clearly corrupted &amp; it is evident!” the Instagram Story shared.</p><p>“CEBU BE ANGRY!” </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2025/10/14/chie-filomeno-reveals-that-sofia-andres-allegedly-blocked-her-on-instagram-1346"><strong>READ: Chie Filomeno reveals that Sofia Andres allegedly blocked her on Instagram</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>Sofia is just one of the few celebrities who showed their support over the recent calamity that happened in the country. Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin broke her silence once more and shared her disappointment on her X (formerly Twitter) account. </p><p>“Not another one 😔 Hoping everyone in Cebu is safe. Are we all thinking the same — is it just because of the rain, or because something could’ve been done to prevent it? Hope authorities look into this as well so it doesn’t happen again. Wishing our kababayans a quick recovery and safer days ahead,” Angel expressed.</p><p>The initial reports after typhoon Tino recorded a total of ₱6.3 million worth of infrastructural damage and ₱13.3 million of agricultural damage. Thousands of houses across the Visayas region were partially and totally damaged as well. </p>
