<p>Following a series of Instagram Stories, actress and entrepreneur Ellen Adarna responded to a netizen’s question about her relationship with her former partner, actor John Lloyd Cruz.</p><div> </div><p>In one of the videos she shared, Ellen described John Lloyd as a devoted and present father to their son, Elias.</p><div> </div><p>“With JL (John Lloyd), day, wala talaga ako masabi. I have nothing but good things to say about him, you know. We had differences in the past but I respect him because he is a very good provider. Ayon yun.”</p><div> </div><p>This is not the first time Ellen has addressed questions about her relationship with the father of her first child. Previously, she clarified accusations about why she did not marry John Lloyd.</p><div> </div><p>&quot;Daming nag-tag. Kailangan ko na ng Biogesic,” Ellen quipped. “Paano ko pakasalan hindi naman nag-propose?”</p><div> </div><p>Ellen also defended John Lloyd from rumors regarding the actor’s financial status, saying, “And ‘wag mong ismolin si Biogesic (John Lloyd)!  Because simple lang siya. Ikaw you don’t know but ang assets no’n, I know you know. Why, di ba? Bakit mo minamaliit?” Ellen said. “He would charter a private plane for Elias during COVID, just to see his son. Ellen expressed how “amazed” she was by what allegedly happened shortly after she and Derek began their relationship.</p><div> </div><p>“Yeah so di ba that was nine days [or] ten days into the relationship. Yes, we were not married at that time yet but if he was able to do that in our honeymoon stage, how much more three months, six months, a year? In the conversation, the actor denied the allegations and claimed that he and Ellen had been separated for six months.</p><div> </div><p>Ellen responded, “Push mo yan. There&#x27;s your side. There&#x27;s my side. And there&#x27;s SCREENSHOTS WITH TIME AND DATES.
