<p>Kapamilya actor John Estrada broke his silence earlier this week to deny the rumors linking him to Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial. He shrugged off the fake news being circulated on social media and maintained he never was in communication with the Kapamilya actress.</p><p>“Totoo po mag kasama kame sa <em>Batang Quiapo</em> pero ni minsan e HINDI kame nagkita dahil po iba ang grupo nya, unit, at direktor nya, kung sino man nag simula nito e puede ka maging komedyante,” he added.</p><p>John urged everyone to research thoroughly about things they see on social media before believing them.</p><p>“Sa mga online newspaper, o tabloid or tsismis sites, e bago nyo cguro ilabas ang isang bagay e mag research naman kayo kung merong kahit na 0.1 percent na katotohanan, yun lang po at maraming salamat,” he ended.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/10/1/look-barbie-imperial-in-italy-905"><strong>READ: Barbie Imperial in Italy<br/></strong></a></div><p>John has turned off the comment section of his post as of writing.</p><p>Previously, ABS-CBN had denied that the actress was no longer in the hit primetime action series and maintained that she will continue her role as Tisay.</p><p>“There is no truth to the rumors that Barbie Imperial is no longer part of <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/batangquiapo"><em><strong>FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</strong></em></a>. Barbie, Coco Martin, and the production team openly communicate with each other, and she remains committed to the series,” the statement previously read. </p>
