The It’s Showtime stage was filled with excitement and kilig as Jarren Garcia and Kolette Madelo reunited during the “Hide and Sing” segment in the January 29 episode.

Jarren, in disguise, kicked off the segment by singing BGYO’s "Tumitigil Ang Mundo" alongside two other mystery singers.

The rising star’s second mystery song sent JarLette fans in the studio into a frenzy as they got a hint that it was Jarren singing "You Are the Reason."

It’s Showtime hosts Vice Ganda and Darren Espanto playfully teased that one of the mystery singers seemed to be someone they recognized.

Kolette, trusting her gut, correctly guessed that it was Jarren, noting his unique singing style and their shared time inside the Pinoy Big Brother house.

It quickly became an instant trending topic, with multiple hashtags such as "Hide and Sing" and "KOLETTE IT’S SHOWTIME" making waves on X (formerly Twitter).

Jarren also took the opportunity to promote his much-awaited debut album during the show.

"I'm super excited to share with you my upcoming album launch and self-titled album Jarren this February 7. On February 8, I’ll be having my album launch at SM North EDSA Sky Dome, along with a meet-and-greet for 'That Boy Jarren.' I hope to see you guys there!" he said.

Tickets are still available at smtickets.com.

Just this week, Jarren and Star Pop unveiled track samplers of the singer’s upcoming debut album.

It included samples of the original songs including "Make It Make Sense" and "Impulse" before their official release.

The music publishing arm of ABS-CBN also teased some lyrics from these songs, which were produced by Filipino songwriter and producer Rox Santos.

Jarren previously described his eight-track album as a “sexy R&B” collection.

The self-titled album is made up of original tracks, with most of the songs in English, except for one that features some Tagalog lyrics.

Another week, another Sunday to enjoy with the “ASAP” family! And in the January 19 episode, we were treated anew to a variety of musical numbers and delightful appearances of some of our favorite Kapamilya stars that will probably live rent-free in our minds in the next days or even so.

The enthusiastic trio of Maymay Entrata, Martin Nievera, and Janine Gutierrez welcomed the viewers to #ASAP2025, with Darren Espanto making us “boom-boom, shake-shake, and drop” as he kicked off the highly upbeat opening number. Yeng Constantino and Ogie Alcasid channeled the pop stars in them through their performance of “APT.” by Bruno Mars and BLACKPINK Rosé. Maymay, Alexa llacad, and Jona then, perhaps, made the “Blooms” out there dancing to Bini’s “Salamin, Salamin.”

New Gen Dance Princess AC Bonifacio and “It’s Showtime” host Jackie Gonzaga were both oozing with sexiness during their dance number, which was followed by the quartet of Martin, Erik Santos, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid singing The Police’s “Every Breath You Take.” The opening number concluded with the “ASAP” fam teasing Jackie and Darren to one another, as spearheaded by Ogie.

Since she’s about to turn 21 this coming January 27, Francine Diaz celebrated her birthday in advance with a production number, wherein she sang and danced to Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather.” She was absolutely glowing and blooming in pink, which made it hard for us to take our eyes off her! Aside from turning a year older, the “ASAP” family also celebrated her “Best Actress” nomination in the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival for the movie “My Future You,” which won 3rd Best Picture.

Three pairs of ASAP Champions then seemingly brought Valentine’s Day quite early with their duets of OPM love songs. JM Yosures and Lyka Estrella sang “Magkasuyo Buong Gabi,” Klarisse de Guzman and Jed Madela belted out “Nanliligaw, Naliligaw,” while JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano made their shippers kilig with “Muli.”

AC returned to the stage with “Time To Dance” judge Ken San Jose and “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11” alumnae Kolette Madelo and Jas Dudley-Scales to offer us an exhilarating dance number.

A few weeks prior to her upcoming four-day concert in February entitled “Reset,” Regine gave us a glimpse of what attendees can expect from it by singing Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now.”

The kilig continued as young loveteams KD Estrada and Alexa, Kai Montinola and Jarren Garcia, and JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith performed Cup of Joe’s “Misteryoso” while holding hands and exchanging sweet glances.

As Erik Santos marked his over two decades in the local entertainment scene, he was dared by his solid fans and “ASAP” fam to take on the challenge of providing a different twist on one of his popular hits, “Pagbigyang Muli.” The King of Teleserye Theme Songs was joined by Darren and Morrissette Amon.

Kapamilya Gen Z Star and Dance Idol Andrea Brillantes once again mesmerized us with her vigorous and sultry grooves through a sexy dance number. It was succeeded by the impressive rendition of “Fearless Diva” Jona and “Soul Diva” Klarisse of Chappell Roan’s “Goodluck Babe.”

Girls and girls at heart were surely thrilled when Rockoustic Heartthrobs Jarren, Blackburn, Luke Alford, Kobie Brown, and Anthony Meneses serenaded us with their version of Daniel Padilla’s “Simpleng Tulad Mo.” And that went on as BGYO emerged onstage to perform their newest song, “Andito Lang.”

Daniel Padilla had his comeback on “ASAP” to promote his latest teleserye, “Incognito,”together with his co-stars Ian Veneracion, Richard Gutierrez, Baron Geisler, Maris Racal, Kaila Estrada, and Anthony Jennings. Yeng was also with them as she sang the official soundtrack, “Liwanag sa Dilim.” During their interview with the hosts, the cast enthusiastically talked about their experiences working on the series and shooting abroad, as well as the preparations they did and how they feel now that more people are about to see it through its television premiere on Monday, January 20.

The episode concluded via “The Greatest Showdown,” wherein the Kapamilya hitmakers and icons astounded us with their duets of musical hits from famous films and productions. Gary and Morissette commenced it with their rendition of “Starlight Express” from the West End show of the same title. Jona and Ogie reminded us that love can lift us up through their version of “Up Where We Belong” from the 1982 American romantic drama film “An Officer and A Gentleman”, while Erik and Zsa Zsa captivated us with their collaboration for “All I Ask of You” from the stage musical “Phantom of the Opera.”

Furthermore, fans of “Wicked” certainly sang along to Yeng and Jed when they performed one of its OSTs, “Defying Gravity”, while Martin and Regine ended the set with their rendition of “Someone Like You” from the musical “Jekyll and Hyde.”
