Kristel Fulgar gave fans a glimpse into her and her boyfriend Ha Su-hyuk's birthday celebrations.

For Kristel's 30th birthday last December 29, 2024, the content creator and Su-hyuk created a DIY party wall as a backdrop for her celebration where the couple took photos. Su-hyuk then surprised Kristel with a compilation of recorded birthday greetings from their friends.

The couple then enjoyed a meal of samgyupsal to celebrate the occasion.

In his sweet birthday message for Kristel, Su-hyuk expressed his love and admiration for her saying: "My love, happy birthday. My baby's 20s are over. You've been through a lot. You've done a great job. My baby is my only one. Happy birthday. Let's celebrate your birthday again tomorrow."

Kristel then expressed her gratitude for having a partner like Su-hyuk. "I'm so thankful to have this kind of man in my life. A man who accepts me for who I am. A man who doesn’t go a day without reminding me how beautiful I am," she said.

The following day, the couple dined at a restaurant. They then celebrated Kristel's birthday with Su-hyuk’s family. Reflecting on the experience, she shared, "Even though I was not in my home country, this family welcomed me to celebrate my birthday with them."

Su-hyuk’s birthday came shortly after, coinciding with New Year’s Day. Kristel surprised him with a thoughtful DIY gift—a portrait of themselves that she personally created.

Fans were quick to react to Kristel’s vlog.

It was in November 2024 when Kristel revealed that Su-hyuk had become her boyfriend.

In a vlog back in December of last year, Kristel shared that it was in 2023 when she first met Su-hyuk.

"Meron akong friend na pinakilala sa akin si Su-hyuk. Matagal na siya dito sa Korea nakatira at kilala niya si Su-hyuk na mabait and that friend kilalang-kilala rin ako and that friend alam niya rin 'yung personality ko, and alam niya rin kung ano ang gusto ko sa guy and so siya 'yung nagpakilala sa aming dalawa," she recalled.

She added: "And then 'yung una pa lang namin pagkakakilala para talagang super magical. Hindi ko ma-explain. Swak kami sa values, pareho kaming very respectful, pareho kaming conservative. 'Yung approach niya sa dating very classic and 'yun din talaga ang gusto ko sa guy."
