MANILA -- Kapamilya star Chie Filomeno slammed Dawn Chang online after the latter hinted at a past fight between them in an interview.

In the online show “The Men's Room," with Stanley Chi and Anjo Yllana some three months ago, Dawn shared she had to defend herself from a fellow celebrity.

“Etong si girl nagre-rehearse kami ng dance inagawan ba naman ako ng position sa steps tapos inaway ako, nagpa interview pa ako daw nang away,” she said in the segment, adding she only tried to defend herself.

While she did not reveal the showbiz personality she claimed instigated the feud, she explained she has the same initials as Christ Fermin.

“Ka initials niya at meron na siyang sinabunutan dati,” she said.

Chie, however, confronted Dawn and shut down the claim on X (formerly Twitter).

According to the actress, the incident never happened, and some staff members of  It’s Showtime can back her defense.

Chie and Dawn were members of GirlTrends on “It’s Showtime.”

“Oh bakit nahiya ka pa pangalanan ako @thedawnchang? About the rehearsal, that NEVER happened. At alam ng prod sa Showtime yun, actually yung staff sa showtime nagsabi sa akin about this kanina at nagulat din sila,” she wrote in the post.

Chie also questioned the details of Dawn’s story, calling it “full of lies.”

“Your mouth is full of lies talaga no? Sige nga bakit ko muna hinila yung buhok? Balik ko sa'yo sinabi mo "Pinagtanggol ko lang sarili ko ah,” she posted.

In a separate post on X, Chie encouraged Dawn to move forward.

“Naka move on na lahat. Andoon pa din si ate mo Dawn. 2025 na, tumigil ka na kung hindi mo kaya mag name drop. Last ko na to,” she said.

ABS CBN News has reached out to Dawn Chang for comment, but she has yet to respond as of this posting.
