Aiah Arceta of nation’s girl group BINI expressed her gratitude following the success of the second BINI Run held last Sunday, February 19.

On her social media page, Aiah shared her experience participating in the event alongside her fellow BINI members and their fans.

“Before this day ends, I want to say thank you Lord!” Aiah posted, reflecting on her journey.

She looked back on how she first felt anxious about being part of the BINI Run last year.

“The first time we did the Bini run, I was extremely scared and anxious. It was so hard for me to look at people in the eyes or even be with others at that time, let alone run with everyone,” she admitted.

For this second BINI Run, Aiah already overcame her fear and was able to find joy in the experience. Knowing that her running was also able to serve as an inspiration to others added to her joy.

“But this time, I thank God because I am stronger than ever, and being surrounded by so many enthusiastic people makes me happy, especially hearing that some of them were inspired to run because of me.”

She also thanked BINI’s management, Star Magic, for organizing the event and praised the support from their fans.

“Running makes me feel happy, and it is my safe space. I hope others feel the same way too! :),” Aiah concluded.

The BINI Run, which took place at Filinvest in Alabang, saw over 7,000 participants, surpassing the 6,000 attendees from last year’s event in Manila.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Aiah, together with fellow BINI members Jhoanna, Maloi, Colet, Stacey, Gwen, Sheena and Mikha expressed gratitude for the huge support their fans showed them during their event.

“Nagulat ako! Kasi pagkabalik namin nung first show natin this year, ang sabi lang sa amin nasa 4,800, tapos ngayon nasa 7K na. So, thank you, Blooms! Mas marami tayo compared last year,” BINI leader Jhoanna said.

Member Stacey, who was admittedly inspired by Aiah, shared, “I’m so excited to jog! I’m gonna jog for real because of Ate Aiah. Excited na kami makita ang Blooms!”

BINI Colet also emphasized how important the event is as they gear up for 2025.

“Maganda po siyang start ng year namin. We care about our lifestyle,” Colet expressed.

“Super importante po siya kasi gusto din namin makasama ‘yung Blooms, hindi lang sa mga performances but pati sa mga lifestyle activities namin,” Maloi added. “I think mas nagiging strong ‘yung relationship namin with Blooms kasi nakikita nila ‘yung other side of us. So I hope magkaroon pa kami ng mga ganitong events. Super saya lang namin!”

During the run, Aiah, Maloi, Mikha and Sheena participated in the 5-kilometer course while Stacey, Jhoanna, Colet and Gwen were at the 3-kilometer course.

BINI Run was inspired by Aiah's own 10-kilometer run shared on her X account in May 2024, which motivated fans to following Aiah’s lead in embracing fitness.

In an interview with Vogue Philippines, Aiah explained how jogging is one of the things that helped her in taking care of her mental health.

“Lately, I’ve been jogging. And then, if I have extra time, then that’s when I get to go hiking. But also, if I’m just too tired to jog or do something active, I just seek comfort from my friends. A simple sleepover or dinner, then that’s already enough for me,” Aiah shared.
