Drag queen extraordinaire Bianca del Rio is on the last stretch of her "Dead Inside" world tour, and she made a stop in Manila. This is the 113th stop of her tour and her third visit to the Philippines.

Speaking to ABS-CBN News on the eve of her highly anticipated show, del Rio shared some of her thoughts on the unexpected passing of The Vivienne.

“It's an unfortunate situation anytime something happens with someone, especially someone so young and so talented,” she said.

“Vivienne and I had known each other for quite a while because when I first went over to the UK, I believe at that point she was one of the Drag Race ambassadors. This was prior to the UK version of the show.”

“And we had remained friends and would catch up every time I was there. She always came to the show.”

It was unfortunate though that they missed and weren’t able to see each other when del Rio made a stop in London.

“The last time I was in London, unfortunately, I didn't get to see her in Wizard of Oz because our scheduling was off. But we had texted and chatted back and forth,” she said.

Del Rio admitted, “I think we're all still kind of processing it. And with DragCon happening in the UK, they had done a beautiful tribute, a memorial.”

“So I think anytime we lose someone in our community, it's really distressing and unfortunate, especially so young. It's one of those things that I still haven't wrapped my brain around it yet.”

Del Rio has also reached out to The Vivienne’s circle and offered her time for anything that they have planned to honor the drag superstar.

“I had reached out to Vivienne’s group, not necessarily the family, but her professional group of people, and said, you know, keep me informed if there's anything I can do, if they're choosing to do something to honor her, memorialize her in any way, that I would be a part of it and definitely contribute my time.”
