Dolly de Leon added another feather to her cap as she received a new acting accolade. 

The Filipino actress landed the honorable mention list of Gold House's Gold List: Film 2025 for Best Performance in a Supporting Role for her work in the film Ghostlight.

Dolly were quick to react to the news. "Oh wow thank you!" the actress commented on Gold House's post.  

Directed by Kelly O'Sullivan and Alex Thompson, Ghostlight follows the story of "a construction worker [who] unexpectedly joins a local theater's production of Romeo and Juliet, the drama onstage starts to mirror his own life" as per its IMDB.

Dolly plays the role of Rita in the film. She starred in the movie alongside Keith Kupferer, Katherine Mallen Kupferer, Tara Mallen, and Hana Dworkin, among others.

The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 18, 2024, and was later released by IFC Films and Sapan Studio on June 14, 2024.  It was recognized as one of the Top 10 Independent Films of 2024 by the National Board of Review.

As per Gold House, the Gold List for film "honors the most outstanding Asian Pacific achievements in the film industry each year. Created to accelerate the fair inclusion of Asian Pacific creatives and projects in mainstream media and during the crucial awards season, 38 previous Gold List honorees — including Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Boy and the Heron, RRR, Minari, Parasite — have gone on to receive historic wins and nominations at the Academy Awards."

The organization added: "This year’s honorees marked a cultural moment in which the world recognized international visions, independent auteurs, and innovative voices. We’re incredibly proud to see Gold creatives change the cinematic landscape for the better."

Gold House is a "cultural ecosystem that unites, invests in, and champions Asian Pacific leaders to power tomorrow for all" as per its website.
