Singer-songwriter Rico Blanco continues to make his mark as an entrepreneur with the launch of his hotel in La Union.

Motel Mambo, located along MacArthur Highway in Urbiztondo, San Juan, features cozy loft rooms that can cater to couples and families. 

"This La Union hotel has been a dream that took me 8 years to fulfill," shared Blanco. 

The former Rivermaya vocalist invited his fellow artists to stay in Motel Mambo, as seen in his latest social media post. 

Spotted at the new hotel are BINI's Maloi, Ben&Ben's Pat Lasaten and Agnes Reoma, Over October's Joshua Caleb Lua, singer-songwriter Ischi, soloists Blaster Salonga and Zild Benitez, and celebrity photographer Shaira Luna.

"I'm so blessed and thankful to have talented, hardworking, and fun artist friends taking a much-deserved break, unwinding and recharging with me on my first time back since our doors officially opened," Blanco said. 

Blanco is known for having a number of business interests, including a record label, a music hall, and a lifestyle complex in La Union. 

He made headlines last year following his breakup with actress Maris Racal.
