Catriona Gray is "super honored" after receiving an award from Smile Train for her advocacy work for children. 

The former Miss Universe was recently given the 2024 Global Goodwill Ambassador Impact Award, with Smile Train acknowledging her work with the organization since 2018.

"Using her platform, Catriona raises awareness, shares powerful stories, and amplifies voices that need to be heard. Her contributions have left a lasting mark on Smile Train and the cleft children we serve," Smile Train said in a post on its Instagram page.

Replying in the comments section of the post, Gray said: "Super honored by this recognition. Thank you, Smile Train! Here's to many more years of creating smiles together."

Gray began working with Smile Train after being crowned Miss Universe in 2018, and was named global ambassador two years later. 

Aside from Smile Train, Gray is also known for her charitable initiatives with Young Focus, which aims to make education accessible to the poorest children in the Philippines.
