Olivia Rodrigo released her vlog documenting the first time she visited the Philippines last October. 

The Filipino-American singer brought her Guts tour to the country back in October.

Olivia remarked that visiting the Philippines was a dream come true.

"I'm half Filipino. My dad's side of family is Filipino. Always been on my bucket list, I've always wanted to come here for as long as I can remember and it's gonna be really fun and I'm just so happy to be here. It feels really awesome. Actually, it's a dream come true. I've always wanted to come," she said in her vlog.

Olivia, along with her dad, explored Intramuros before her concert. The singer also dined at the Filipino restaurant Sarsa, where Chef JP Anglo personally prepared and served them Filipino dishes in a boodle fight-style feast.

"I'm very excited to eat all the Filipino food I grew up eating. My favorite dessert is halo-halo," Olivia shared.

The singer also visited the Manila headquarters of Jhpiego foundation, where she donated the net proceeds of her Guts concert in the Philippines.

"For the Manila show I am super excited. We're doing this thing called Silver Star tickets which is essentially where every ticket in the house is under 26 dollars. Those tickets support this incredible charity in the Philippines called Jhpiego just champions women and girls' health so we will go and visit them today and I'm really excited to hear more of what they do," she said.

"Seeing the Philippines was absolutely incredible. I feel like it was a big thing that I've always wanted to do so I got to check that off my bucket list today. It was an amazing day of exploring and meeting people, and it's great. I'm really excited for the show tomorrow," she said as she concluded the day one of her time in Manila.

On the day of her Guts concert on October 5, thousands of Filipino fans watched the show at the Philippine Arena.

"Every time I sit down to write a song it's always because I want to express something that's going on in my head and in my heart, and you know to play a show and see that resonate that with so many other people you've never met before, is just quite a magical experience. It's something you really don't get used to. It's just really beautiful," Olivia said about performing.

The Filipino-American singer could not help but be emotional as well upon performing for the first time in the Philippines.  

"I'm just so emotional... I'm just thinking about my family the whole time... It's just beautiful and I'm so grateful that everyone came, and it was so much fun and I just feel like the luckiest girl that ever lived," she said.

Filipino fans online were quick to react to Olivia's YouTube vlog.

"I'm so proud of how much Olivia embraces her Filipino heritage and kindness!" she said.
