Celebrity influencer Laureen Uy revealed in a recent Instagram post that she suffered from a miscarriage. The YouTube vlogger wrote a heartfelt message for their daughter to express how much they’ll be missing her everyday.

Laureen previously announced her pregnancy to the public with husband Miggy Cruz last October.

“From the moment we found out we were pregnant with you, Dad and I were overcome with joy. It was the best news of our lives—a love so immense and instant, it’s hard to put into words. You filled our hearts in a way we’d never known before,” she wrote.

The vlogger-actress recalled how excited they were to build their little family of three after learning about her pregnancy.

“As the weeks went by, our excitement grew. We did everything we could to make sure you were safe and comfortable in my womb. Everything Dad and I did, we shared with you, imagining all the memories we’d make as a family. We pictured holding you in our arms, kissing your tiny hands, singing you to sleep, and exploring the world together—a family of three. We couldn’t wait for that future,” she added.

Laureen admitted how learning about her miscarriage was the “worst day” of her life as she didn’t want to let her first child go. She maintained how much they’ll be missing her “every single day” and how grateful they are that they had their first daughter despite the circumstance.

“God had other plans. The day we learned your heart had stopped beating was the day ours shattered. It was the worst day of my life. I didn’t want to let you go—my body didn’t want to let you go. Even now, it feels like a nightmare I can’t wake up from. But this is our reality, and it’s a pain I never thought I’d have to bear,” she continued.

“Even so, we are so grateful to have been your parents, even for a short time. You’ll forever be our daughter, our little angel. Though we grieve, we also hold on to faith. We trust that you are now in the hands of our Lord, surrounded by peace and love. And we believe He has a plan for us—a future where your memory will forever remain a part of our story,” she shared.

“We love you endlessly, Miles. Forever and ever,” she ended.

Laureen and Miggy tied the knot earlier this year in an intimate destination wedding in Palawan.
