Song Hye-kyo celebrates birthday with Suzy

Song Hye-kyo celebrated her birthday with her best friend Suzy.

In an Instagram post, Hye-kyo shared snapshots of their meal together, which consisted of wine and steak.

"The day my pretty sister bought me a birthday gift🤍 The picture too👍🏻🤭," the actress wrote.


Suzy also posted snapshots from Hye-kyo's birthday celebration on her social media page.

Fans online were quick to react to their birthday bonding.

"I can't believe that my two favorites from year 2012 are now best friends, I was 7 way back when I started watching Full House and Dream High and these two become my favorites since then," another fan wrote.

"Two ultimate beauties together," one fan commented.


Hye-kyo marked her 43rd birthday on November 22.

Meanwhile, back in August, Hye-kyo sent a food truck for Suzy when she was filming for her new project Genie.

"A surprise from Hye-kyo unnie on the set of Genie. Thank you, unnie! I’ll eat well and stay energized. Sweetest unnie ever!" Suzy wrote on social media.

Meanwhile, Hye-kyo is set to return on the big screen in the upcoming horror movie The Priests 2: Dark Nuns which is set to be released in January. The actress headlines the movie with Jeon Yeo-been.

The Priests 2: Dark Nuns follows the journey of individuals who perform a forbidden ritual in a desperate attempt to save a boy possessed by a formidable demon.

Hye-Kyo will take on the role of Sister Junia, a courageous and steadfast nun who rises to the challenge of saving a young boy's life.

In an interview with Elle Korea in August, Hye-kyo shared what drew her to doing Dark Nuns.

"I’m not a huge fan of the occult genre, but my mother really likes it a lot, so I was familiar with it from a young age. I didn’t want my next project after The Glory to be a romance or a love story. Fortunately, right at that time, I came across Dark Nuns," she remarked.

Hye-kyo shared that she wants to take on more challenges after The Glory.

"Watching myself on the monitor as I fought felt new and refreshing, and I was excited about discovering a new side of myself through completing this challenge," the actress said.
